I purchased this car in 1992 and the car was in need of light restoration which i did. This car has 44100 original documented miles and is only driven in the summer and on nice days. That being said, here is a list of things i did to the car. I bought the car and it went right into my garage and up on stands. I checked the car thru and thru and fixed/replaced anything it needed to be road worthy... which wasn't much as it turned out. Most of the damage was on the body. The car had 35k original miles when i got it and i have only put less than 10k on it since i've owned it. I restored the body in a professional body shop and replaced the passenger door skin which came from a '75 vette. The interior is all original except the interior door panels which i replaced with new old stock. The carpet in the front was also replaced. The clutch is brand new and the motor has never been rebuilt. It runs strong and only has slight mods done to it. (valve covers, air cleaner, re-breather removed). I replaced the rear bumper with an aftermarket solid fiberglass bumper and the front bumper was also replaced with a solid fiberglass bumper and then moulded to the fenders to be seamless. (It's a great look...see pics) I also replaced the stock exhaust with side pipes and painted them black to reflect nicely with the flat black stripe and accents. The tires are BF goodrich Radial T/A and the rims are 15"x10" American Racing Slots. The tires have 2000 miles on them at most. The car always starts and has never broken down (except when i blew a radiator hose). I replaced the standard manual fan with an electric fan kit that has 2 fans. I control them from switches in the cockpit. They have an automatic control feature but since i disconnect the battery all the time i just decided that switches were better. Since i have owned this car it has been garaged and taken care of. I change the oil every year and lube everything when i get it inspected. It is not a rattle machine and is very solid. Iv'e also replaced the water pump and alternator over the years. And the ignition was replaced with an electronic one from pertronix. The brakes work great and the power booster was replaced last year. All the rotors and pads are in great shape as well. All the lights work and the lids go up and down for the headlights. The wipers work. all the guages (except the clock) work and the radio works thru one speaker. The fan and heat work and all the vents open and close with no problems. Even the map light on the rear view mirror works! I replaced the steering wheels with a smaller one from Ecklers and i still have the original wheel. I also have a t-top bag and some parts i would be willing to throw in. Now for what it needs. It is missing the inside drivers side fender well (half of it) and the wiper fluid bottle is missing. The engine compartment was never redone so it is still original. One of the t-tops fell on the ground and is scratched up a bit (see pics). The paint is 18 years old and has some slight wear here and there (small cracks and scratches). The radiator has a pinhole in it that i cant see but i can smell. A few other querks but nothing major like the clock doesn't work and the radio is working only thru one speaker... This car is not perfect but is a great car and is an awesome car for the right person. I am selling it because i have owned it for 18 years and it's time to let someone else enjoy it. I have more pics i can email of closeups and i have film pics of the car from when i purchased it. I can go on and on about this car but if you are interested please contact me and i can answer any questions. $7500 is the lowest price i will take for the car so please do not email me with lower offers. If i don't get this price i will keep the car. The buyer is responsible for picking up this car and all shipping expenses.
