This is my 1998 BMW 1100RT-P with 77k miles. It is Glacier Green Mettallic #703, (the first picture is the best representation of the color)complete with heated grips, power adjustable windscreen, abs, etc.... I have owned her for about the last six years. I'm told the RT-P bikes are beefier than the RT's so that the RT-P's are able to handle the grind of all the extra electronics and daily grind of a police bike. I would not know, I've only owned an RT. I have owned her for about 6 years and has only been adult ridden by me only on sunny days. She has definitely been reliable and problem free for me and given me great rides. I have owned and ridden bikes for over 30+ years and I find this a very solid ride. Back when I was getting acquainted with this bike I very quickly was amazed at two things... First, how cool that the fairing was attractive yet big enough to block enough wind to shield my 6' 4" frame from the 32 degree day,.... and second, how she is soo well balanced. This was a well maintained California Highway Patrol bike that I purchased and "decommissioned" to become what you now see, my well maintained cruiser. Guessing C.H.P. is where she got that title brand rebuilt. I've only put a total of about 1970 miles over my 6 years of owning her. She has recieve a complete Service and NEW TIRES. They show to have less than 1000 miles. Have extra goodies..... The buyer can also have the old blk/wht CHP fairing panels and front fairing. The bike received service before winter and I decided this spring to be honest that I don't ride her that much since becoming single dad. So, I am letting her go. The last few years the bike was primarily ridden to give my daughter a ride to school. Come get a great deal as I clean out the garage. Expect normal wear, and the abs is on, with scratches on valve covers. (no noticeable effect). Other than that, the bike is shown and sold as-is.
