Just in time for the summer cruising season !! You are bidding on a beautiful 1962 Impala Sedan. This car is the perfect Collector Car for a family, since it runs like new, has room for a family, has seat belts front and rear, and has power steering, power brakes, and an upgraded engine and transmission for reliable travel. This is a beautiful car, and will consistently win trophies at car shows. The engine is a new 350 V-8, installed in 2007. The transmission is a newer 350 turbo automatic, rebuilt a few years ago. The car was restored about 6 years ago, and it looks and runs like new. The interior is a custom design, and was done very professionally and with quality materials. It looks like new, with no wear, tears, or other signs of use. The headliner is original, otherwise the entire interior is restored. The tires are like new, with only a few hundred miles on them. The exhaust system is excellent, with new turbo mufflers replace a few weeks ago. There are auxilliary gauges to keep track of temperature, oil pressure, and amps. There is an auxilliary electric radiator fan for hot weather driving. The paint still shines like new, and there are only a few minor stone chips and scratches that can only be seen up close. It is hard to describe just how well this Impala runs and drives. Receipts for repairs, restoration, etc., are included with the car. The chrome trim, stainless, bumpers, etc., are all in excellent condition with no rust or other damage. The glass is original (factory tint on all windows) and in great condition. The vent windows are showing their age, but do not need to be changed. The other glass is in great condition, with only minor scratching consistent with its age. The floor pans, frame, body mounts are in excellent condition, with no rust issues. The trunk floor and right rear quarter had some repair when the body was done in 2004. The job was well done, for there are no rusting or paint issues where the repairs were done. A lot of money has been spent on this car in the past, and it is great value now that all the major work is done. For those who like a good sound system in their cars, this one is great. The car has a 4 speaker AM FM CD stereo system, with an Alpine booster in the trunk (shown in one of the pictures), and a remote control for the stereo! In addition to this great system, the original GM radio still works through the original dash speaker. Very few collector cars in this price range have so many great upgrades.
