1969 Mustang Mach 1, R code, 4 speed transmission. Found the car stored in a garage for the last eleven years. The car is a project but very restorable. It's missing the hood, radiator, rear valance, and console. It does have the shaker assembly, but the mid plate has been modified. The rust issues I've been able to find are, the lower fenders, doors, and quarter panels, passenger side rocker panel, battery apron, passenger front torque box, a small section of the trunk lid, both trunk drop offs, and a little on the drivers side rear frame rail. The drivers side floor looks to be pretty solid, the passenger side will need to be replaced. The interior is in good shape, the carpet is faded, the dash pad is cracked. The rear sail panels are showing wear, but the seats are in great shape. The interior with a thorough cleaning could be used for a driver type restoration. The engine does not run, and I've not been able to turn it by hand. The plugs had been removed, and has sat that way at least eleven years. The intake has been replaced with an Edelbrock manifold, and the carb is a Holley 3 barrel. It also has headers installed so the shock tower reinforcements have been modified slightly. The speedometer shows 74211 miles, but don't know if that's correct. The door VIN tag matches the dash and the passenger apron where the fender is loose. The car had reportedly been drag raced most of it's life. Other than the rust issues, it doesn't appear to have ever been damaged. It's very straight, and looks like it has been repainted once. Car does not run and will have to be trailered. Inspection in person is recommended, the car is located approximately 1hr15min from the Dallas area.
