13K Invested IN This Modded Out 92' Chevrolet Camaro RS Project Car I am an ASE certified mechanic and I have been restoring this Camaro over the last year and a half. The Camaro is 85% completed. Here is a list of everything that has been done to this car. No expense has been spared on this nearly completed work of art. The body of the car has 111,000 miles on it. Heres what is in the car: Engine: 5.0L 305 c.u. Throttle Body Injected Motor - Rebuilt with new mods Port and Polished Cylinder Heads Meiling Torquer Camshaft - Lift .420 Int./ .443 Exh. Hooker Competition Headers - Painted - 1 5/8 in with 3 inch collectors and matching Y-Pipe and Intermediate Pipe to Match. March Performance Powder Coated Underdrive Pulleys- Alternator, Water Pump, and Crankshaft Black Crinkle Finish Valve Covers, Timing Chain Cover, and Air Cleaner Brand New Sensors Rebuilt Throttle Body with new injectors from GM New Wiring Harness Engine Block was painted Black New Distributor, distributor cap, and rotor Plugs wires and Bosch Platinum +4 Spark plugs New Harmonic Balancer New Intake Manifold, Water neck, and Thermostat Brand New Serpentine System-Everything on front of Motor is Brand new. New Hoses and Belts New Radiator New Fan and Motor Engine Bay: All of the above components were installed into the engine bay after the engine bay was stripped of all parts including the subframe. The Engine Bay and subframe were media blasted and painted gloss black. All steering component linkage and new steering gear box were shot with the same paint and clearcoat. Transmission: Transmission was completely overhauled. Nothing inside of the transmission is used it is all brand new and has been filled with Amsoil Synthetic Transmission Fluid. It also sports a Hurst Billet Plus Short Shifter and a Hurst T-Handle shift knob. Driveshaft has New Bruite Force U-Joint installed in it to withstand the greater amount of torque that this car has. Rear End: The rear end of this car has a New carrier, ring and pinion, new bearings and seals, new axles, differential cover, and backing plates for the drum brake system. Brakes: The brakes on this car has been completely redone. New rotors, drums, spring kits, bearings, grease seals, and new dust cups for the rotors. Suspension: New coils springs all the was around. New shocks and struts. All suspension bushings have been replaced with brand new ones. New Camber Plates. New Ball Joints in the front end on the control arms. Steering: All steering linkage is brand new. Centerlink, tie rods, idler arm, and pitman arm. The steering gear box was also replaced with a new unit. Underhood: All parts underhood were stripped from the car and replaced with brand new parts from GM. New Windshield Wiper Bottle and New Radiator Overflow bottle. Also, it has a new windshield wiper motor. All parts in the engine bay are BRAND NEW. Nothing has been reused. Underbody of Car: The underbody of the car has been completed stripped of paint and and was professionally coated with an undercoating to protect the underside of the car from road debris and helps to keep noise and heat out. New Gas Tank, Sending Unit, and Fuel Pump and New Gas Tank Straps. New Parking Brake Cables as well have been installed. All parts were purchased thru JEGS, Summit Racing, and General Motors. I have all the receipts for all parts purchased and the car has a clean title and it is in hand. Over the course of the last year and a half I have put just over 13,000 dollars into this car and it is still not completed yet. Heres a list of things that are needed to finish this car: Paint Job New Tires Complete the Exhaust System Computer Chip to update for new camshaft and rear end gear ratio. I am selling this car just because I simply don't have the money to finish the car out. I wish I didn't have to part with my car but I am left without choice. After the end of the auction a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $500.00 is due to secure the car for the purchaser. Purchaser of the Camaro is responsible for the cost of transportation to your location.
