  VEHICLE DESCRIPTION 2004 Dodge Sprinter Cargo Van  136,300 miles, Salvaged Title 5 cylinder diesel turbo 2.7 engine For Sale 2004 Dodge Sprinter with Salvage Title.  Newt, our ice cream truck, was rear-ended in March and the insurance company considered her a 'total loss.'  We researched the option of fixing her up but instead just bought another used Sprinter to turn into an ice cream truck.  This vehicle is sold "AS IS" with no warranty.  The info below is what I have.  If you have any questions, please email me.  The vehicle is technically drivable, i have driven it 15 miles to and from home, impound lot, mechanics and body shop.  I WOULD NOT recommend driving it though, I doubt it's 'street legal.'  It would be best to tow it from Long Beach to it's new home. From what I know, this vehicle was rear-ended by a 2008 Toyota Tundra truck going approximately 40mph when the driver fell asleep.  Because it was a truck that hit us most of the damage happened above the rear bumper and frame and the rear doors, and back half of the passenger side took most of the force.  I've had the frame and wheel/axle spacing measured and it looks to be in good shape.  The one concern I'd have is that the floor is buckled in the very back and, from the rear axle back, there is there is a bump in the floor.  The engine and transmission appear to be in fine shape.  I have owned the vehicle for two years and invested over $5000 in her to keep her in the best shape possible.  She was actually parked in front of a Dodge Dealer when she got hit and they had looked over everything and done some basic maintenance work.  The brakes and traction control seem to be funky and will need work.  There are numerous lights on on the dash too.  This is a great project for someone that can do some body work and knows Sprinters.  Below are a ton of pictures This vehicle is sold "As-Is" and I will only sell in person.  I will accept cash or will go to a nearby bank with you to get a cashiers check.  I'm a bit paranoid about fake cashiers check so don't show up with one (real or fake).   VIN WD2PD644045663630 LICENSE - 8N51351 2004 Dodge Sprinter 2500 140" Wheel Base, High Top Power Brakes, Steering, Windows and door locks dual air bags standard wheels  136,300 miles 5 cylinder diesel turbo 2.7 engine 5 speed automatic AC, Cruise Control NO stereo, No Window on sliding door.  One broken window on smashed back doors transmission and oil serviced 6 months ago pick up only from LB, CA 90803 Salvaged title I've put way more pictures than probably necessary.  Best to have too many than not enough.   2004 Dodge Sprinter Photos Click thumbnails to enlarge
