1972 Midnight Blue Metallic Super Beetle - Rag Top Up for sale is a 1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle - Rag Top. This car is in immaculate shape. It was a body-off restoration done a few years ago and is an attention-getter at every car shows it's been entered in. The engine was completely rebuilt and is chromed ready for displaying at your local show. The speedometer reads 39,246 but it only has about 400 miles on it since the engine's been rebuilt. Weber single dual carborator and gorgeous Monza dual exhaust with manual transmission and high performance battery installed. No expense spared for this restoration (see pictures). The exterior is in excellent condition. The midnight metallic blue paint job is new and accented by beautiful chrome. The windows are mirror tinted. The wheels are show quality. The car is a rag top, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful summer weather. (Rag tops are similar to modern cars' sunroofs but extend the whole length of the car so both rear and front passenger can enjoy the open air.) The car has been lowered 2 inches in the front for that "California" look with California style bumpers. Extra wide fiberglass fenders and special recessed turn signals. It has a remote controlled, multicolor LED underbody light kit installed which is perfect for night shows. It is truly a beautiful car. The interior is perfect. A custom two tone grey tweed compliments black leather as shown. The seats are very, very clean and in perfect condition. Beautiful steering wheel. Custom surround sound CD stereo system. Black carpeted and embroidered floor mats. I am selling this car because my wife just found out we are having a baby and we will have to save up! So I have to sell this baby to make room for the new baby. It is in immaculate condition and I hate to see it go.
