Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1928 Ford Model A tudor sedan, an original survivor;,The bad; the front fenders, both splash aprons, and running boards need to be replaced, the drivers side headlight bucket is rusted through,I have an extra bucket, both doors need a small patch on the bottom, the motor is stuck, this car will need total restoration or will make a great hot rod!!! The Good; almost everything is there, the seats, the wood floor, the body is in great shape and has the perfect patina ,even has the old chickenwire on top, chop it 6 inches and you're on your way!! the rear fenders are in good shape, please look at all the pictures and see if this is the project for you. This vehicle is not operational and will need to be trailered or towed, it will be sold with a bill of sale only. The vehicle can remain on the premises for 30 days,as long as it is paid for ,unless other arrangements are made. This vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells locally I did a closer inspection of the body and found a small hole in the passenger side quarter, about the diameter of a pencil,in the cowl on the pass side a pencil size hole also, and the drivers side cowl has some small rust bubbles, the drivers quarter is solid, as are the subrails, the back of the body, wheelwells, door jambs, and the rest of the body, Please ask any questions and I will answer ASAP. Thanks,John. This car has not been touched by a Hot Rodder yet!!! If it doesn't sell this time it will get a 6-7" chop and a V8!!!! NO RESERVE!!!! BID TO OWN!!!!!!!!On May-09-10 at 17:17:24 PDT, seller added the following information: I HAVE HAD A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS ASKING IF THIS WAS A KATRINA FLOOD CAR, THE ANSWER IS NO! IT WAS IN HAMMOND LA. AT THAT TIME,AND BEFORE THAT IT WAS IN NORTH MS. THE LAST TIME THE CAR WAS DRIVEN WAS 1970, IT STILL HAS THE COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM STILL ON IT, AND NEAT LITTLE DETAILS LIKE THE ORIGINAL CURTAIN ROD IN THE BACK WINDOW, ALL THE GLASS IS GOOD BUT THE WINDSHIELD IS CRACKED, JUST THE BODY IS WELL WORTH $2500 BY ITS SELF. THANKS FOR LOOKING.
