You are bidding on my beautiful and original 1970 Mercedes 280 SEL with only 82855. I have owned this car for the past 2 years, when I bought it from my neighbor, who took very good care of it and kept it in his garage yearound. I am selling it because I also have a 1974 450 SLC and a 2010 C300 and have no room in the garage for all the cars. This car is amazing, it starts right up every time and all components work, just like they should. AC blows cold air, heater warms up the car like a summer day. All power windows, radio and gauges work normally. It has brand new tires, which were installed last year and are the closest thing to the original ones. Suspension and brakes are also in very good shape, so you can drive this car home if you choose to. It runs very smoothly, great transmission, no shaking or noises, does not overheat, oil pressure is perfect and most important, no oil leaks in the engine (I did not clean the engine at all as you can see from the pics) Another big plus is that this car is ALL ORIGINAL, from the interior seats, mats, dash, to the exterior paint and chrome. There is a crak on the inside driver door, which can be seen in the picture, a smal dent above the right side front wheel, and cracked paint by the rear license plate, besides that everything looks good. The car has no major rust, just tiny bits on the paint and underbody as seen in the pictures. Keep in mind the car is exactly 40 years orld so there is wear and tear, but nothing excessive. To be honest, the car looks like it's only 10 years old. This is a real classic, and whoever wins it will be very satisfied with the overall condition of the vehicle.
