Magnificent Adventure Tourer with low miles and many extras. I rode this bike on one trip - from Michigan to Alaska and it performed absolutely perfectly. It has been dealer maintained to perfection, runs as new, and is ready not just for Alaska again, but anywhere on the planet. Yes, it is tall and yes, it's heavy compared to a KLR650 or something, but how sweet it is at 80 in the buffeting wind passing semitrailers in Montana. I have been assigned to a multi-year project in New Zealand and am buying a bike there; better that the R finds someone to ride it than it sits in the garage. If you want the best machine you'll ever tour on (assuming you don't want a conestoga wagon), this is it. I know I should have washed it before taking the pictures, but please use your imagination - she's beautiful. On May-05-10 at 06:56:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional Note: I've been asked about cosmetic condition - there is a single blemish consisting of scratches on one of the valve covers that occurred before I put the head guards on. They are cosmetic only. Everything else is essentially perfect - no dings or dents or scratches of any kind. There may be minor paint impacts from the ten thousand miles to Alaska and back, but I've not actually noticed anything.
