Many of you have seen my previous auction for a year 2000 Designo slk230, which was also a super rare car. This one does have several advantages over the other. First, it's one of only 6 in the US!!! The rarest of rare. Since it's a 2001 instead of a 2000, it has the newest aero package ('04 style front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, fog lights, and more), better 5-spoke design wheels, led turnsignal mirrors, a triptronic transmission, interior feature upgrades, and more that the previous model year did not have. Also, the steering wheel and shifter were entirely revised, giving it a more luxurious 'feel'. This vehicle also has all of the benefits of being a 320 vs a 230. (Bigger engine, stronger transmission, and dual power seats, to name a few.) This vehicle runs and drives great! It looks great and gets comments everywhere I go!! I have personally put thousands of miles on this car. This vehicle was a southern (Florida) car until I tracked it down. I flew in and drove it home, straight through, in style and comfort. There is a dent on the roof and a few sun-spots on the trunk, see pics.. also sure there are probably a few other minor imperfections here and there as it's a used vehicle. Had check engine on at one point a few weeks ago but has since gone away. As you can see from the pictures, the vehicle is very nice shape!! The top works flawlessly as do all other electronics.
