Vehicle Detail
The car can be seen at "Dream Motor Cars" on 1920 La Cienega Blvd in Los Angeles, located 3 Blocks North from the 10 freeway. 7 days a week from 10:00AM to 8:00PM This is 1 of 33 Prototypes / Concept cars made, there are only 19 in the US. this one is #13, We are selling one of the 33 concepts that are now very collectable and will be worth much more than the factory production K-1's that sell for $160K to $365K USD. The car made it to factory production in 2007 is being produced as a limited production super sportscar in Europe, together with Ford Motor company station in Slovakia. End Price put here in the US is $160K for the V6 with a Ford formula engine, and for the K-1 made with a V8 Audi 450HP 0 to 60 in 3.7 sec. the price put here in the US after inmportation taxes, emmissions etc. is $365K usd. (see factory website below) "Quote" K-1 Kit Concept cars were cars that were first made as concepts and sold as kits to have consummers put it together, all car manufaturers have had to do this at first until the car gets approved to be factory built and sold as a turn key road car with warranty and also backed up with parts and service from the car manufacturer, even until now they do this, they make new models, they are called "concepts" but they do not allways make it to production, and only a few are made, we are selling 1 of the 33 concept kits that were made before it made it to factory production, this 33 are very collectable and will increase in value to $1,000,000. Million usd or more, see link right below. This is one of just 5 concepts from the year 2006, these K-1’s will be priceless, Elite Choice Magazine collector item experts wrote, that "in the future, the collector concept K-1’s could reach a price of $1,000,000. Million USD or more", and they suggested that now, it will be a very good investment, See Magazine weblink: http://elitechoice.org/2008/11/11/k1-attack-spider-all-set-to-go-under-the-hammer/ A picture is worth a thousand words, that is why we posted 2 pictures of when I visited Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills, the car is parked next to a $1.3 Million dollar Bugatti, the K-1 got far more attention than the $1.3 Million dollar car, that alone is worth a Million bucks. with the $1,150,000. that you save you can spend $40K and put any super engine that you like on the car, to make it the fastest car in the world, no need to change the Audi racing suspension, the car comes with a tubular frame, stong enough to support heavy turn preassure ratio: because the K-1 tubular frame, was originally made for the track. (see pictures below) The K-1 was created in Europe in 2002 as a Race car, then only a few dozen concepts were built, from 2003 to 2006, only 33 were ever built, only 19 are in the US, and only 5 from the year 2006 with an H-22 engine are known to exist. In 2007 the car made it to production, and they started Factory production of the car with parts and service. The concepts were made with a V-TECH H-22 High performance Honda 2.2 4cyl engine, 0 to 60 in 4.9 seconds Audi racing suspension, Weighs only 1800 pounds. No car could beat it racing in the 2.2 liter category in Europe, it was because of it’s light weight. (Ferrari at first, also used 4cyl engines on their first race cars, and they used Alfa Engines for the first 3 years until they finally got approved to produce manufacture cars and the cars were built with there own engines and Ferrari was officially born, Now the first concept Ferraries with Alfa Engines are priceless, most in Museums and have sold for Millions. The 4 Cylinder race cars won, because of the light weight and low fuel consumption, it made less stops for gas and it even beat 12 cyl race cars.) In a longer race the 4cyl race cars often won. Here is information on Factory produced K-1’s, the base price for a V6 K-1 is $160,000.00 USD put here in the US 8 month waiting list 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds weighs 2300 pounds, production in next 10 years approx. 1300 units Now in 2010 a V8 production K-1 is being produced here is the information, V8 450HP K-1, Audi Engine, 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds Price is: $365,000.00 USD, weighs 2600 pounds, put here in the US and 8 Month wait. production in approx. 10 years 1000 units Concept K-1's, no longer can be ordered, 4cyl Honda H-22, V-TECH High performance Engine, 280HP 0 to 60 in 4.9 seconds. weight 1800 pounds. only 33 ever made, 10 years from now maybe even less than 33 will exsist. this is why the concept K-1 will be very collectable and it's value could reach $1,000,000. Million usd. The car was built professioanally, it runs and handles very good, because of it's light wheight 1800 pounds it takes off and stops like a motorcycle, it is also safe, it is built with a tubular chassis that is rap around the car for crash safety. I bought the car in 2006 instead of buying a Lamborghini, because I wanted something different, that I was not going to see someone else driving the same car down the street. I think that alone is worth much more, the only other car that looks similar and will get the same kind of attention would be a Koenigsegg, but a new one will cost $1.6 million. So, dollar per dollar the K-1 is by far a much better deal, plus the Koenigsegg will decrease in value with time, "VS" the K-1 Concept, will increase in value. The K-1 we are selling is very rare to find only 33 exist worldwide, if you find one for sale not complete, is most likely a Replica kit, that is why is not complete because they could not replicate all the parts. Even if they tell you is original is most likely not, also see who is selling it, if is a company that is in the business of making replicas or carbonfiber parts, is probably a replica, there is 1 incompleate we found on ebay, we went to see it and it deed not have the tubular frame, like the original K-1's have, it had a square frame, this means it is not an original K-1, it was a replica, even though he claims it to be original, and that the car has a certificate, if they made a copy of a car, don't you think they can make a copy of a certificate?, so be very careful in buying one specially if you see it for a very low price, think about it! why would someone sale a limeted edition K-1 that are only 33 in the world, for so much less than the production K-1's ? (the car was incomplete that also explained why they were asking $35K, but the car still needed to be finished, the cost to finish will be around $40K more, that will be $75K cost for a replica K-1! Here is additional infomation, this K-1 was used in the Film "Risk For Honor" see info on www.imdb.com keywords Risk For Honor to see Film Info. If the film is a big success than the car will become famous and will be even more collectable than other K-1's. concepts. Below is information about the Factory and Dealers of the K-1, you can verify information and the prices at the websites below. Slovenia: http://www.k1renovatio.si/site/index-3.html Slovakia: http://www.k-1attack.com/en/predaj-slovensko.k1 CI Holdings: http://www.ciholding.sk/indexen.html Note-Very important, there is a website called AttackForums. These individuals created the website for K-1 owners, but after 2007 this website is trying to control the market on the K-1's. Since they stopped making the kits in 2007, they know that the car is a good investment and that it will be worth much more in the future, so they (ONLY) allow or create fake postings of unfinished K-1 kits for a low price. See for your self. Become a member and try to post. They will give you a hard time before they let you post. If they ever do let you post, then post a K-1 for sale for over $80K they will make comments like why are you selling it for so much? you will never get that? I have one for sale for $50K, but when you respond and tell them, I am interested in buying the K-1 for $50K!, and I want to see the car, the so call finish car has no engine and no transmission, or they don't really have the car. When you question them as to why they are taking away the value of the K1, they remove your posting, and restrict your account so you cannot post anymore, they do this to control everything on the website to their benefit, they are doing this because since 2007 the K-1 kit concepts are no longer being made, so now they want to buy as many K-1's as they can because in the future they can verywell be worth $1,000,000 USD, If you are able to post on the website, you will be attacked by "Jeff" (one of the administrators) and "Dis1" (a member). Also "Sticky Alex" (Administrator) posted incomplete K-1's kits for sale at a low price to try to keep the price down (so they can buy more K-1's for as low as they can). but if you notice, These kits for sale were posted in 2004 and 2005, for around $30K just for the body kits, not for the complete car, because by the time you built it and get it registered on the road it will take you at least 8 months and will cost you approx. $80K. $30K for the kit and approx $50K of cost to built it, including electrical, engine, transmission, DMV fees, emmissions cost, interior, paint etc. This $80K price was before 2007, which is when they stopped production of the kit, so the prices have gone up worldwide. Now that the car made it to production, the first 33 kits became concepts, and they are now collectables. This is information that every car collector knows, and is also common sence even if you are not a car collector or car expert. They started producing factory turnkey K-1's since 2007 in 10 years there will be around 1300 or more Factory built K-1's in the world, but here will only be 33 K-1 Concepts kits or even less will exist worldwide. Which car do you think is going to be more collectable and worth more?................................You don't need to be a car expert to know that, 1 of the 33 first concepts made will be worth more. This has happened throughout car history, here is an example, the first Shelby Cobra kits that were made by Mr. Caroll Shelby in his garage in Venice California, were he used a body from a car made in the UK called an AC and he put a Ford 289 and 427 engines on it, (THESE WERE HOME MADE KIT CARS HE MADE, IN HIS GARAGE,) now these first Shelby Cobras kits have sold for as much as $5.7 Million usd, they cost a lot more now than the later, factory built production Shelby Cobras that you can buy until today in a Ford Dealership. Walk in a Ford Dealership, and ask them how much a new Shelby Cobra will cost you? it will be a lot less than the $5.7 Million Cobra kits first made by Mr. Shelby in the 60'S, but back then no one wanted the Kits, they prefer to buy the later better built factory made Cobras made together with Ford, but look now what car cost Millions?, (the first Concept Cobras) the same will happen with the first 33 concept K-1 kits, like the one we are selling.
