Very nice 1976 BMW 2002. My wife and I have 3 other cars, so this car does not really get used. Email me with any questions and I will respond. You are welcome to come by for a test drive. Here are some details: The car is originally from San Diego, then the owner moved to San Francisco, then New York. The car is in Forest Hills, NY 11375. Car features a manual sunroof, SIRIUS ready satellite radio with removable face plate and is in nice overall condition. The original 4 speed GETRAG transmission was rebuilt less than a 100 miles ago by my German mechanic, with German parts. The car ran fine before but the bearings were noisy and he recommended to put in new bearing and all other needed parts before it gets worse. He took his time and did it right. Smooth rolling bearings and shims with no drag or funny noises. Ready for spring and summer fun. The paint is starting to fade in spots but I believe it’s the original Sahara Beige paint. In one of the pics you can see a file of receipts that date back to the early 1990’s, when the car was in California. The file, which has all the receipts of repairs done in California, comes with the car. It has the name, address and phone numbers of the previous owner from the 90’s. It is missing two of the bottle hubcaps. One I may retrieve at the carwash (I am hoping) so you may only need one. Very reasonable reserve so don’t hesitate to bid away.
