Hello, you're looking at absolutely gorgeous 1983 Chevrolet Blazer K5, Silverado edition. I have not had a chance to own it for a long period of time and here is what I know about this truck. I've bought this SUV primarily for Hunting and Fishing and maybe some four wheeling once in a while. I specifically was looking for the one just like this one with DIESEL engine because of the fuel economy. What else would you be able to find in this class getting 24 MPG freeway and 18-20 MPG in the city depending on driving habits. After running around, going all the way to Fresno and Reno and looked at many near by ended up buying this one for its ABSOLUTELY GREAT CONDITION. Unfortunately, after spending a lot of money, I've realized that I can't afford it to be sitting for the most part of the time. I've purchased it in Bay area somewhere in November soon after I've installed Banks Sidewinder turbo on motor. Well, one thing after the other, engine being this old even with as little miles on it did not take the pressure that turbo created and a lot of gaskets started leaking oil. So, I pulled out engine to replace all the gaskets, opened it up and decided to go all the way, there it is engine has being completely rebuilt less than 400 miles ago and I've got all the paperwork to prove that. Odometer shows 4,621 miles and by the condition of this vehicle I'm sure it's 104,621 miles and even if I'm wrong about it, it's for sure is one of the best ones out there. 6.2 L Rebuilt engine with less than 400 miles replaced every seal and a gasket by Felpro, Freeze Plugs, Main Bearings, Rod Bearings, Cam Bearings, Piston Rings, all Belts are new, Fuel Pump, Oil Pump, after engine being torn apart I've painted every part of it and all hoses where replaced as well. Banks Turbocharger which adds another 60hp and 130lb torque and adds 19% to the fuel economy. Installed 3" exhaust. 4" Rough Country suspension lift, dual front shocks, steering stabilizer, sway bar drop brackets along with ProComp Steel Braded brake lines less than 400 miles. 35" tires 90-95% tread on 15" American Racing chrome rims. New transmission about 1,400 miles ago by previous owner. New battery about 1,400 miles ago by previous owner. New brakes about 1,400 miles ago by previous owner. New Warn front locking hubs about 1,400 miles ago by previous owner. New master brake cylinder 100 miles ago. Silverado edition means this is top of the line, all Power, Cruise Control, A/C, 4X4. Original Stereo works great. Body does not have any rust and appears to be all original, NO OIL LEAKS. Interior is all original and is in the best shape for being this old; dashboard has cracks and covered by cover. THIS IS EXEPTIONALLY GOOD BLAZER, COUPLE OF THINGS THAT MAY NEED ATTENTION: WHILE I WAS WORKING ON THE ENGINE, A/C COMPRESOR FELT ON THE GROUND AND GOT BENT CLUTCH PULLEY AND STILL NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED. CRUISE CONTROL DOES NOT WORK, HAVE NOT HAD A CHANCE TO LOOK INTO THAT. AS FAR AS EVERYTHING ELSE, WORS GREAT.
