This is an "absolute auction", no reserve! Up for sale is a 2000 Audi A4 Quattro (four all wheel drive system) with automatic (tiptronic DSP conventional automatic gearbox with a torque converter, offering the driver fully automatic operation, or manual gear selection) and the 1.8T engine (turbocharged 20v engine with five valves per cylinders, producing 150HP @5700 rpm, offering advertised fuel economy of 22 mpg), four door sedan with Convenience Package (Glass sunroof with pre-select function, sunshade and 100 N force limiter, Homelink garage door opener, Auto dimming exterior and interior mirrors) in Santorin Blue Pearl Mica exterior and opal gray leatherette interior. This vehicle is being sold "as is!" I will gladly make the vehicle available for inspection, but by appointment only. The vehicle was purchased last on 02/08/10, with 156,000 miles, for $5,500. I am the Lien Holder (pink slip), and repossed the car for nonpayment. I am not a used car dealer or salesman and know little about this particular make and model. I must sell it, as I have no use for it. The vehicle's exterior was washed and dried for the purpose of the photograpghs, as they best accurately depict the present condition. This vehicle is by no means in "excellent", arguably in "good" condition, but it is best described as "fair" condition. There are what appear to be three quarter size hail stone hits on the roof, numerous dings and dents, scratches, streaks, scrapes, stone chips, a little clear coat lifting in some places, a star on the windshield and everything else you would expect on the exterior of a ten year old vehicle with over 164,614 miles. The engine shows no leaks and the air-conditioning blows cold. The vehicle has had recent front end damage and I have an estimate of $2,625.78, from the local Audi dealer for repair. It is my understanding that this damage is limited to the hood, grill, bumper and spoiler. I drove the car 42 miles, city and highway, and it shifts smoothly, accelerates, brakes and tracks well, without vibration, and generally drives as I expected. The tires are Bridgestone Potenza and appear to have 50% life left, and include the original unused Goodyear Eagle LS spare and rim in trunk. Front brakes appear good, rear brakes appear to have 25% remaining and rotors have mild wear. There are some issues I noticed, as follows: 1). The center display on the dash is defective, as shown in the picture, and very hard to read. 2). The Air Bag light stays lit indicating an Air Bag Malfunction, as shown in the picture. 3). The right front low beam is out. 4). The right side mirror shows 98% fogging. 5). A mysterious noise at highway speed is present that could just be wind noise (from front end damage) or perhaps something more, as I am not an expert. 6). The interior overall is soiled, stained and worn as there are two tears (1" & 2 1/2") on the left seat bolster of the drivers seat and the right seat cargo net, cupholder face plate and lighter are missing. 8). The factory mats are missing, but three 12"*16" after market mats are included. 9). On repossesion, I added 3 quarts of oil to return the engine to the proper oil capacity (no service records included). Everything else I tested seemed to work fine. If you have questions, please ask them and look at the vehicle before you bid! I offer absolutely no financing and will file a complaint against a non paying winner of this auction.
