Are you looking for a classic car in which you can invest? They're hard to find these days but this Delorean is a sure winner. The Wall Street Journal named the Delorean as one of three cars to hold onto for the next 10 years. This Delorean is especially rare because of the low miles and ownership. This Delorean spent most of its life in Hawaii (where it was the only one known to exist on the islands) and the California desert. The AutoCheck report confirms this information, along with the low miles. The last owner bought the car in 1984 (when it was 6 months old) and recently sold it to us. This Delorean has Air Conditioning and the peppy 5 speed manual transmission. The car steers tight and has a surprising amount of power. Those of you that know about the Delorean know that the manual is much more fun to drive than the automatic. This car comes with Delorean documentation and is original as you can get. Note in the pictures the "graffiti" on the roof of the driver's door. These are actual markings from the factory! Very cool... This Delorean will need a new dash, seat covers and some other interior pieces due to the fact that it sat in the hot California sun. The cost of the entire interior kit is $995. The car is running and operable but my mechanic tells me that it is likely to need a clutch in the next 1000 miles. He quoted me this cost at $1300. We can deliver the car with a new interior and clutch. We can also make any changes or upgrades that you would like prior to delivery of the vehicle. Please ask before submitting your bid.
