You are bidding on one of the great classic American luxury cars. This 1955 Ford T-Bird is original with MATCHING NUMBERS MOTOR. It was painted once about 9 years ago and it is in great shape. It is a 2 owner Texas car. The top has port windows. The car has power EVERYTHING and it all works. A few of the dash gauges are a bit stubborn, but for an original car it is amazingly clean. Power seat, windows, steering and brakes telescoping wheel, fender skirts. Even the horn works! There couldn't be a better car to own as the weather warms up and those long summer cruising nights heat up. This First Generation T-Bird is great in Black and White and turns many heads. Mechanically the car is perfect and it could be driven across country tomorrow. Interior - the interior of the car is in great shape and was recently redone. All the power features of the car work great. The radio looks like the original but is the modern digital display and works great. The Convertible Hardtop has port holes and goes on and off with ease. There is nothing like a top down cruise in a 1955 Thunderbird. Our mechanic has gone through the car and says it is is great shape. The body is straight with no rust or damage. The original 292 cu.in. engine, 4-barrel carb, automatic transmission all work great.
