You are bidding on a very nice 1974 Vega Spirit of America. This car has 32.000 original miles.Car is still wearing the original Polyglass tires. I recently purchased it from the original owner. It has been stored in a garage since 1982,but was started every year.This was a very limited production car that Chevrolet produced in 1974 called "The Spirit of America" They were produced in a Vega an Impala and a Nova.The Vega featured white body with red and blue stripping white vinyl top an Eagle badge on the fenders,red carpet with the GT style white seats.I believe these were limited to one per dealer. Car has very nice original white vinyl interior. Seats are unbelievable condition.I was going to restore this sweet Vega but I have changed my mind.and decided to sell it. I removed all 4 wheels bead blasted and repainted them, they look awesome.Car has many paint chips, but the body is mostly rust free. The only bad spots seen to be around the front windshield and rear window. I also resprayed a couple of the kick panels and they look real nice too.Car has the original factory vinly top which is also excellent.Car had a new battery a new muffler installed and it started right up.These old Vegas are starting to get harder and harder to find, I see another on E-bay right now and it's already over $3,000. This would make a nice easy restoration project, or a V-8 Vega project. I by no means want to imply that this car is road worthy... because it's not! tires are 36 years old the brakes and other mechanical systems would all need to be checked and or replaced.I will require a 500.00 payment at the conclusion of the auction via Paypal.
