1959 Mercedes-Benz 190 Ponton with factory Webasto sliding sunroof. This car has been stored in a garage since 1974 and needs full restoration. There has been no attempt to get this car running and the odometer shows 87,941 original miles. I will try to describe the car as accurate as I can. Car sold with clear title. The body is pretty solid, the only rusted through areas are at the front drivers side headlamp, lower front trim section, next to the gas cap door and passengers front door column ; near bottom hinge (see photos). The original paint shows its age, no major dents that I can see. Wheel wells look solid.  Car is straight, no signs of any accidents. The underneath of the car shows average surface rust for it’s age and the floors are very solid. The windshield has two rock chips on the drivers side. The front bumper on the passengers side looks bent, but just needs to be unscrewed and remounted. All four hubcaps are present, one is off and in the trunk. There is a small piece of trim missing on the passenger front side lower quarter panel. The muffler is also missing. The engine mounts appear to be solid. Most of all of the chrome needs to be polished or re-plated. The headliner is soiled and has tears, holes etc. The vinyl seats are in excellent condition, the door panels show some soiling. The steering wheel has a crack in it and the chrome is peeling. All windows open and close freely. The doors close very solid. I have made no attempt to open the sunroof. No battery. Spare tire and jack including a few spare parts are in the trunk. Tires show age, but hold air. Included with this sale are the original owners manuals. Terms and Conditions Car is sold AS - IS.
