FOR SALE: 1956 INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER S-100 1/2 TON PICKUP "SILVER DIAMOND" - 6 Cylinder Engine3-Speed Column Shift, Manual TransmissionVery Original-No ModificationFull Size Spare Condition This very complete truck has just been pulled out of high and dry storage at the barn. We have too many IH truck projects and are forced to part with this fantastic '56 S-100. This truck is in need of full restoration, but will make a very smooth project vehicle, as the cab and frame are VERY solid. The only noted, through-panel rust is an area the size of a silver dollar in the passenger side floorboard (Note: this will be a simple fix; this area is straight sheet metal). The truck is not currently running, however the engine is free and fully lubricated. There is a dent in the roof of the cab, this will be a simple fix. The truck is very complete and original-we have attempted to show all parts that come with the deal-Please feel free to ask if you have any questions about the included items you see in the pictures. PLEASE NOTE: The truck has been primed using rust preventative primer on all body surfaces-the dark red color you see in the pictures is not RUST. I thought I would summarize my responses here, to better inform everyone about the truck: 1. The truck will come with a Bill of Sale only-No Title. When we purchased the truck >10 years ago, we received a signed title from the previous owner, which we subsequently mis-placed. The purchaser will have several options for obtaining a replacement-we have completed this process for several other vehicles over the years-not complicated or difficult. 2. The truck is VERY complete, some of the items that come with the sale, that may not be so easy to see in the pictures are: - rebuilt carburetor - complete seat frame-needs re-covering , but frame in remarkable condition - front bumper - all chrome/emblems - all glass is excellent, with the exception of the DS vent window, which is cracked and will need replaced. 3. GOOD NEWS! After exhaustive search of barn inventory- the original hubcaps have located and are definitely included in the deal. They have been painted by the previous owner (??), but in removing some of the paint- the chrome is in decent shape. I have included pictures also.
