This is a rare find, this car sat in a garage for almost 30 years, it has had only 2 previous owners. The last owner purchased the car october of 1979 from the origional owner, at that time the origional 383 motor was bad so he put in a 1969 440 motor and a 4spd trans. This car was a factory 383 auto on the colum car with 8 3/4 rear and 3:23 gears. After the car was purchased in 1979 the previous owner had the car repainted from the origional light green to the color it is now. he also had a brand new vinyl top installed when it was painted in 1981. After the car was painted the owner got sick and the car was parked in his garage in 1981 untill last fall 2009 when i got the car. All the chrome and trim are in excellent condition and look new, the interior is in excellent condition but is missing the radio and has a small crack on the dash pad. The paint looks very nice for being done in the 80s , When i got the car the only thing i did was wash the dust off from sitting in storage, change fluids, install new plugs , cap, rotor, points , wires and a new fuel pump and it started right up and runs great, I drove it down the road and it has lots of power and runs great, but the brakes feel very weak. so i would not drive this car far untill the brakes were fixed. It would not take much to make this a driver or show car, the car needs very little.The pictures speek for themself. I am also listing the car localy so i reserve the right to end the auction early.
