IF YOU HAVE "ZERO" FEEDBACK DO NOT BID, NO SHIPPING, LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY !!! here is your chance to own classic cool vehicle 1971 volkswagen bus t1 with engine conversion, it has 1.6 turbo diesel engine from 1985 vw jetta it has manual transmission and 45000 original miles, heavy duty clutch, 4-speed a lot of custom made parts, runs really good, a lot of torque, frame is good body needs work, tires are good but old, ask any question I forget to mention that this is a camper, so it has pop-up hood, but canvas needs to be fixed/replaced, teared, I do have little sink and original fridge for it, even table and portable toilet, car is located in Chicago, 60622 PEACE AND LOVE !!! a little update, I shot some videos how is the car looks like inside and outside, you can see them here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApPSbTPc_Zw also I started the car two days ago and realized power steering for the brakes doesn't work so I did bring it to the mechanic, friend of mine, he disconnected rubber tube from the vacuum pump and showed me that there is no vacuum so probably pump or rubber diagram in the pump needs to be replaced, car runs, drives and shifts, but it is hard to use the brakes without power steering, you have to push pedal really hard to stop the car also car has only 45000, engine was completly rebuilt by previous owner and odo was reset to 000000, but that was in 1989 so he recommended changing timing belt, I did inspected it and looks good, but rubber is getting old so I would change it right away mpg is around 25
