It's priced to sell fast and way under KBB and NADA private party values, not to mention the added dollars Dealers add on. This is an extra car for us now so priced to sell. My daughter got my old CRV and this was her car and now for sale. Make sure to check out the mechanical maintenance and compare to any car your looking at. The only thing I would count against the car is the paint and body being in 85-90% condition as listed below but mechanically it is 100% and if your looking at a car that is not at the same level it could cost you a few thousand to get it there. Overall the car looks good as is and mechanically 100% updated with records for the past three years to prove it. Mechanically 100% maintained Honda Civic LX. Maintained by Firestone and myself. All maintenance records showing work done. Interior is 95% condition. Looks good. A couple tear drop size marks on pass./driver seat and overall good condition. Paint and Body 85%-90% condition. No major dents. The paint and body is fair/good condition. The car looks good but the bumper has a small 3 inch hole on the right side of bumper. This was caused when my son parked the power washer right next to it during washing cars and the heat melted the plastic. Check pictures. The car has some small dings and scratches here and there. On the bumper and right rear fender are a few paint chips. The are several small scratches are on right rear fender/door and some here and there on car. I have a Honda paint stick that the new owner can touch up with and maybe a pro. detailer could buff alot out but thats for the next owner to take care of. Overall the car looks good and it was not worth the time or cost for us. The pictures were just taken today. Its hard to see the small scratches in the pictures. Owners History- My car has been in the family since 2007 and at 70k miles. I bought the car from the certified Honda 2nd owner in 2007. The first owner was a lease. I sold the car a year ago to my brother and after he lost his job, I bought it back for my daughter when she started driving. I bought a newer truck and she got my old CRV. So this car is now an extra car and taking up driveway space. The 2nd owner had one small accident were a door was fixed and repainted back around 2005 and my daughter hit a large dog in 2009 and insurance repaired the fender. No major accidents. Run a CarFax if you like. The dog accident in 2009 probably not there but just stating the facts. Options- Automatic, AC, Power Windows and Locks, Color- Titanium Metallic (Gold), COMPARE what you get on another Civic LX- Here are some big upgrades, I added- -Newer JVC Stereo, CD, MP3 Input Jack, and Remote FOB $300 -Remote start and Keyless Entry $350 -OEM Painted Matched LED BRAKE Light Spoiler. $150 -Tinted Windows and Window Visor Vents $140 -4 Star Rating on www.safecar.gov Safe car. Thats why I bought it for my daughter to drive. -Excellent Mechanical Condition- My daughter drove this and I kept everything 100% maintained. She got my old CRV and now I am selling this. NOW COMPARE THE MECHANICAL HISTORY OF MY CAR TO OTHER CARS OUT THERE- To any used cars you are looking at. Any Honda or Toyota over 70 K miles will need a timing belt service, coolant change/flush, front brakes, and possibly struts. If it has not been done then the next owner will have to pay for it. For those of you that do not know the timing belt is critical and if it is not changed and breaks then it causes major engine damage. I have all the paperwork showing this car is 100% mechanically maintained. -Current Firestone All Wheel Alignment, I always buy the lifetime alignment and have them done a few times each year. -Timing Belt and Coolant Flush done by Firestone around 70K Miles. Normal Honda recommenced maintenance. Around $600 -Tires done around 70K Miles. Their Firestone 55k tires and have 33k on them. -Front Brakes new pads and rotors dine by Firestone last year around 93k. -New Front Struts done by Firestone Around $600. Jan. 2010 ***Shop around on other Honda and Toyota's in this price range and Year. The above maintenance items done should be done around 70 k to 100 k miles range. Having the Front struts and timing belt done only is around $1000 cost. So if find another comparable Honda or Toyota if those items were not done then account for this. -I use Mobil 1 Oil 5W- 30W.
