We have used it on many trips, provides lots of storage and we used the roof rack to hold our Thule box. All of the maintenance has been done by a reputable shop in our area that specializes in european performance vehicles. Exterior and interior are in very good condition with the exception of a small scrape on the rear bumper, and the glove box has fallen off. Now the bad part: About 2 weeks ago I did an oil change on the car myself, we were preparing to take a long trip. I drained the oil early in the morning, and forgot that I had already added oil to the car. Later when my wife needed to take the car to leave, I again added an EXTRA 4.5 quarts of oil to the car. She made it about 4 miles down the road before the oil light came on and turned around and came home with the car smoking from the tailpipes. I drained the extra oil, changed the filter again, and added the correct amount of oil. The engine is making a rattling noise and it still smokes A LOT under acceleration. I don't know if the engine needs to be replaced or if it can be fixed. We are just going to buy a new car. So I am selling this car assuming that the engine needs to be replaced. I would also recommend trailering the car home, I would hate to have the engine seize before it can be looked at. Please do not send me and email asking "what is wrong with the car". I do not know, and I haven't brought it to a shop, I just want it out of the driveway. There is no reserve and it is priced very low, I know it is worth much more than the starting price just in parts.
