Up for sale is my 1940 Dodge Business Coupe. It is an origional 6 cyl flathead with 3 speed (on the tree) transmission. The car was repainted (origional "SPAR BEIGE") about 30 years ago by the 2nd owner.The interior was redone (to origional) about 15 years ago by the third owner.Car has origional fenton visor,rear skirts,fog and spot light and turn signals, chrome head light visors and wheel trim rings..The radio and heater still work! Speedo works but odometer is stuck at 43950 so mileage is not accurate. Car is updated with a 6 volt electric fan and a 6 volt alternator. I am the 5th owner (i spoke with 3rd owner after i bought car about 6 years ago and he told me about history of car.Was originally bought by his friends father and was sold from one friend to another till i bought it). Car starts and runs good with no smoke and noise,cruises down highway at 60 with no effort.Have been to 21 car shows and came home with 18 trophies.Chrome has some pitting and paint might need some touch up .Car is a great looking origional and is driven almost everywhere i go on nice days.Car is located just outside of Chicago.Have clear il title in hand.
