More photos coming. This has been my daily driver for the past 4 and a half years. I have put alot of time and effort into this car. I hate to see it go but third baby on way, bought minivan for wife I work two jobs bought myself a Neon for all the commuting I do. Any questions please ask.On Apr-27-10 at 23:58:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Just want to also point out that this car handles and drives VERY well. I have put alot of time, money, and effort into upgrading the suspension with factory Z28 parts and good quality after market replacement parts. Every single piece of stock rubber under the car has been replaced with All Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings. They were properly installed using the supplied grease so there is NO suspension squeaking. The car came stock with a rear anti-swaybar. All the steering components (inner/outer tie rods, tierod connecting sleeves, centerlink, and idler arm) have been replaced with Moog and Hotchkis parts. The rear brakes are a little over a year old. The front pads are about six months old. The front rotors are Summit Racing drilled/slotted and should be replaced along with new pads. The Summit rotors were a mistake, but the brakes are good enough to pass NJ State Inspection. I went through a State facility, I did not pay a shop for that sticker... The front wheel bearings were also replaced when I installed the Summit rotors and are still good. The 2 manuals shown in the one photo are reprints of the factory dealership service manuals for that year Camaro only... These are NOT your crappy Hayes or Chiltons manuals. These have been an EXTREMELY valuable resource to me in maintaining and repairing this car over the years and are included with the car. I also have the original owners manual. I purchased the centercaps new from a dealership for the stock rims not long after I bought the car. I have the Camaro emblems, they just need to be glued on. The drivers door hinge pin and bushing need to be replaced. The passenger door closes perfectly, but the drivers requires a little effort. I have replaced the hinge pin twice since I bought the car, and it is due to be done again. The door panels you see were custom built by me to house a pair of 6 1/2 inch midbass speakers. I also made custom kickpanel pods to house 5 1/4 inch components. These panels are made from wood and fiberglass and are very solid. The stock speaker sizes and locations sound like garbage to me. Car audio has been a hobby of mine for over 20 years and a profession for the better part of 15 years. I can leave the kickpanel pods in the car with a pair of pioneer 5 inch coaxials hooked up to the AM/FM cd player, but I do not have anything onhand to install into the doors. I had nearly $1000.00 worth of JL Audio speakers in the car and I am not about to let them go with it. If you would like to bring two sets of 6 1/2 inch coaxial speakers with you upon pick up of the car I will be MORE THAN HAPPY to install them for you. Every so often, the service engine light comes on... It is a very minor issue. My professional scan tool shows a code 32 EGR solenoid malfunction. The EGR solenoid works fine. I tested it using the procedure in the manual shown above. Proper EGR function is measured by the MAP (manifold absolute pressure sensor) which measures engine vacuum, and also has been tested and found to been working properly. As the EGR operates, engine vacuum pressure changes. If the sensor measures pressure slightly out of parameter it will activate the code. I have tested all vacuum related components with my hand held vacuum pump/gauge and found a few rotted vacuum hoses. They have all been replaced. The only place left where a vacuum leak could be is in the intake plenum. I have a new plenum gasket kit which I will include with the car, but since the issue is SO minor , does not affect emissions or performance, I have not put it near the top of my priority list. Lastly, the front main seal on the engine seeps oil VERY SLOWLY. WHERE-EVER I PARK THE CAR THERE IS NEVER A DROP OF OIL ON THE GROUND. USUALLY BY THE TIME IT GETS ITS PERIODIC OIL CHANGE IT IS ONLY ABOUT A HALF QUART LOW. If you keep up on the oil changes like I do with all my vehicles it will not be a problem. This car is my baby... I hate to see it go... I am driving a NEON back and forth to my TWO jobs... I miss my Camaro already, but it is 18 years old and is sold STRICTLY AS-IS. I will tell you anything you need to know about it just ask. There are no warrenties given or implied. Just know that I have taken good care of this car mechanically and it should serve the next owner as well as it has me...
