THE ENGINE ON THIS CLASSIC IS A NUMBERS MATCHING 235 CID (6 CYL) WHICH IS THE SAME ENGINE USED IN THE IMPALA IN 1959. ALTHOUGH IT IS A CLEAN 6 CYL THE CAR MOVES UP AND DOWN THE ROAD WITH EASE AND HAS GREAT PICKUP. I RATE IT AS A “9” FOR MANY REASONS SEEN BELOW. THE BISCAYNE IS AN ORIGINAL DRIVER BUT HAS BEEN BROUGHT BACK CLOSE TO THE DAY THAT IT LEFT THE SHOW ROOM. THE PAINT IS 2 YEARS OLD AND IS IN GREAT CONDITION, EVERY EMBLEM AND PART IS ACCOUNTED FOR AND IN ITS CORRECT LOCATION. NO PART OF THIS CAR WAS LEFT UNNOTICED AND YOU CAN TELL THIS BY LOOKING AT THE PCITURES. WHAT MAKES THIS CAR SPECIAL IS THAT THE CAR SPENT ALMOST ALL OF ITS LIFE IN A CLIMATE CONTROLLED WAREHOUSE IN COLORADO. THE VEHICLE HAS NEVER HAD ANY RUST WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE TRUNK (WHICH HAS BEEN REPLACED) AND HAS BEEN MAINTAINED IN ITS ORGINAL CONDITION SINCE IT WAS PURCAHSED AT AN ARIZONA DEALERSHIP. THE CAR CURRENTLY SITS IN A CLIMATE CONTROLLED WAREHOUSE IN COLORADO (SEE PICTURES). THE BODY IS STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW AND LOOKS SPECTACULAR. THERE ARE A FEW VERY MINOR DINGS ON THE VEHICLE BUT OTHERWISE CLOSE TO PERFECT. ALL LIGHTS AND BLINKERS WORK AS THEY SHOULD ALL GLASS IS INTACT (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A CRACK IN THE PASSENGER WINDOW) AND, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, ORIGINAL! UNDER CARRIAGE IS IN PERFECT SHAPE, NO RUST (EVER) MATICULOUSLY MAINTAINED AND NEVER BEEN IN INCLIMATE WEATHER. THE BISCAYNE HAS NEW WHEELS WITH BRAND NEW TIRES. ENGINE: THE ENGINE IS A 9/10. ALTOUGH IT IS A 6 CYL ENGINE THE VEHICLE CAN KEEP UP WITH MANY LATE 50’S AND 60’S V8 VEHICLES. AS SEEN IN THE PICTURE THE ENGINE IS IN GREAT SHAPE, A COMPELTE OVERHAUL AND REBUILD OF THE ORIGINAL ENGINE TOOK PLACE 6 MONTHS AGO AND HAS LESS THAN 2000 MILES ON IT. IT IS THE ORIGINAL NUMBERS MATCHING ENGINE AND RUNS PERFECTLY!. THIS BISCAYNE IS CAPABLE OF MAKING A TRIP AROUND THE COUNTRY TOMORROW WITH NO PROBLEMS! INTERIOR: THE INTERIOR IS A 8.5/10. THE INTERIOR IS SOMEWHAT CUSTOM BUT ONLY TASTEFUL MODIFICATIONS WERE USED. AS SEEN IN THE PICTURES A CHEVROLET EMBLEM IS STICHED ONTO THE FRONT AND BACK SEATS. THE INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN RESTORED. THE SEATS HAVE BEEN RECOVERED AND LOOK GREAT, THERE IS SOME VERY MINOR SUN DAMAGE BEHIND THE BACK SEAT BUT CAN ONLY BE NOTICED IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT IT IN THE DIRECT SUNLIGHT. ALL GUAGES WORK AS THEY SHOULD, ALL GLASS IS ORGINAL AND ACCOUNTED FOR AND IS IN GREAT SHAPE (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE PASSENGER WINDOW.
