This 1964 Galaxie 2 Door XL was brought up from Texas. Car has original 390 4bbl, automatic on floor, with factory air conditioning. Very straight car. Hard to find in this condition. I own a body shop, so I'm not telling you something that I know nothing about. Body has a few blisters around wheelhouse and corners of doors, as can be seen in pictures. Bottom of doors have surface rust only, not swelled from rust. Only hole in car is on right front fender on top by hood, which can be seen in pictures. Why it rusted there makes no sense to me. Rest of body is vey syraight, not all beat up from laying things on it like most of the cars from this vintage. Have custom triple crome plated front and rear bumpers still in wrappers. Front bumper still on car is dent free and could be sold as a very nice core. New windshield never installed. New spears for fenders. Extra grill and all the stainless off of another XL. Have dealer installed Tri Power and cast iron headers. Tri Power manifold and carbs are redone and ready for installation. Cast iron headers are inperfect shape. Never been cracked or welded on, and have been coated. Car runs and moves on its own power. No brakes, someone stole the right rear brake line. Have extra bucket seats, console, and rear seat in black. Could be used if you were looking to make a nice driver. Would need to repair left bucket, has small rip.
