This car was given to me, and I had a used engine placed in the car (By professionals at Shop). My daughter has been driving it back and forth to college for the last year. It ran great, but the last time she came home, the overdrive went out of the manual transmission, and now the only gear that the shifter will go into is reverse. I priced a transmission and could not find a used one locally, This may be a synchronizer problem, but I do not know. I hate to put very much into the car and recently found her another driver cheaper that what a new transmission would cost. The car is very clean, it has the typical college bangs and bumps! The engine starts and runs fantastic, 3/4 tires on rear and two new tires on front. You are buying this car AS IS. IT DOES NEED TRANSMISSION WORK. Buyer is responsible for pick up in Charleston, Illinois. I am have no reserve on the car. If you can put a transmission in, this car will make you some money or drive you around for a long time. But I am not that mechanically inclined.
