You are Bidding on my 1976 Ford Pinto, 2 door , automatic, 2.3 litre 4 cylinder engine. SEE PHOTO GALLERY AT BOTTOM OF PAGE I am the third owner and the car has 56,099 original miles This is a Canadian car and is located near Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I am about 2 1/2 hours north of Seattle, Washington and 20 minutes to a border. Shipping will be the sole responsibility of the buyer. This Pinto has been re-painted about 4 years ago to original color and shows very well. There is minimal peeling on the plastic dividers between the body and the front and back bumpers. There is some very minor surface rust on the inside truck floor. The car exterior is virtually rust free. It has spent all its life garaged or car-ported. The body is excellent with no dents or dings and all trim and emblems are in good shape as is all the glass. Recent work includes dropping the tranny to replace leaking seals, new tranny fluid, oil & filter change, new fuel filter and a new steel rear brake line. I have the bill. I have also put 2 brand new tires on the front, the rears are used and fair as is the spare. The car runs well and the tranny shifts good. All lights work as does the heater, radio, turn signals, electric rear defroster, wipers and horn. This Pinto passed a government air emission test with flying colors last fall. I will include this with sale. The interior is clean and the seats are vynil with no tears. There is some wear showing on the inside of the drivers side seat back. There is a 1 crack on the dash, see picture and the carpeting is orginal and faded and worn. Replacement kits can easily be bought on ebay for under $175, this would really dress up the car. If your looking for a good running clean solid old Pinto then this is your car. Please remember this car is in Canada and don't bid unless your prepared to ship it.
