Vehicle Detail
1988 JEEP GRAND WAGONEER 58969 ORIGINAL MILES For sale is my 88 model Jeep Grand Wagoneer. This is a really nice and super clean Wagoneer. I've included numerous photos that detail the condition of this low mile "Woody". The 58969 miles are original and this Jeep spent most of it's life with one owner on his ranch in Colorado. I purchased this great Jeep last year in it's original condition. The interior is in fantastic original condition. The seats, door panels, carpet, even the floor mats are original with the vehicle. The only thing that has been changed inside is the stereo which is an aftermarket Blaupunkt and a brand new headliner. As you can see in the pictures, the interior is in great condition. There are a few small cracks in the upper door wood trim at the windows and a small dry rot spot in the rear cargo carpet on the drivers side (shown in photos) There are also two small scratches in the leather that I have been able to find. One on the front arm rest and another on the top center of the back seat. You have to look for them, but they are there. The engine compartment is super clean and has a new insulation pad. This Woody has had a recent full tune up, new plug wires, oil change, belts, heater hoses, top radiator hose, emissions valves, transmission service with new filter, front and rear differential flush and new fluid, new shocks and new exhaust/catalytic converter. The Texas state inspection is current and the Jeep runs great! As you can see in the pictures, this Wagoneer looks great. I just spend thousands on a new paint job (original color). The clear coat had begun to peel so I had it repainted. The wood trim is in good condition and looks great. The passenger side wood has a couple of small scratches and very small rips (shown in photo). They are very small and you have to look hard to find them. The bumpers and grill are in great shape. Very shiny and clean. I recently had the rear aluminum bumper polished and it looks brand new. Overall the Woody looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. The wheels and center hubs are in great condition. Very clean and shiny. The rear tires are brand new and the front tires have less than 1000 miles on them. The spare is a matching aluminum wheel with new tire. As you can see, they look great. There is no rust on this vehicle and I've included some under carriage photos that show the condition. The A/C blows very cold, the heater works great, all interior and exterior lighting is operational as are all switches. The electric seats work as they should as do all electric windows and door locks. The rear window is a little slow but works both from the dash and back key. The 4 wheel drive is operational and shifts smoothly. The only thing that I have found that needs to be addressed is the cruise control. It's not currently operational. I bought this Jeep to have as my weekend toy and I have really enjoyed it. There are some small things that can still be done but, overall it's a super nice Grand Wagoneer. My original plans were to keep this Jeep but as the kid's college expenses continue to climb, my plans have changed. If you are looking a very nice, super clean Grand Wagoneer to use as a daily driver, lake house or beach car or just a weekend toy, you can't go wrong with this one. I've set the auction with a reasonable reserve price for a Grand Wagoneer in this condition. I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. If you want the Woody shipped, you will need to make your own arrangements as I don't know much about shipping vehicles. If you are not local and prefer to fly and drive, this Wagoneer should get you wherever you need to go. I do reserve the right to end the auction early as I am listing the Woody elsewhere. I do require a $500.00 deposit from the successful bidder, via PayPal immediately at auction's end and full payment within 7 days of auction end. Please email me with any other questions and good luck bidding.
