This is one Super Sharp Silverado 1500 Short Bed 2-wheel drive V8 with automatic tranny. The truck was totaled out by the previous owners insurance company and will be one of the least damaged rebuilders you will ever find. The damage is: dent on nose of hood, minor scrape on passenger side front fender and wheel opening moulding, right parking light, and light scuff mark down right bedside that will buff off and all can be seen in pictures. I do not know why the insurance company totaled this out other than there would be more expense in dealer body shop labor hours and material after they repaired and painted than what State Farm wanted to spend on what they view as an old high mile truck? With this said, I say be glad they totaled it because this is a strong running little truck, the 4.8 V-8 runs down the road like a rabbit and drives well also with no frame or suspension damage. I drove about 100 miles over the weekend to road test and will say it drives excellent. Very roadworthy and will get you home safely with all lights, signals, horn and brakes all working as you would expect.
The overall condition is good with no major rust, hail dings or old damage. The windshield and air bags are good. The engine sounds great with aftermarket exhaust that can be seen in pics. No smoke, rattles or oil leaks. You can view the pic of the dash gauges and see the engine at operating temp. & idling with good oil pressure.
The interior is in good shape and very comfortable with the optional "LS" upgrade package and will be just like the pics. The stereo was removed but no cut wires so you can just plug in a factory or aftermarket system. All power options work as they should including the cruise & a/c.
State Farm insurance put an "Actual Cash Value" of $6675. on this truck before damage and you will be well under that when ya bid and win and with very little work you will own a Super Sharp and valuable Slverado.
