Here is a 1974 Karmann Ghia. This car is as straight as any you will find. I just hauled this thing in from 15 years of sitting by the barn. I hope these photos will accurately reflect the body condition. I can take more if you need. The floor is in much better condition than I would have ever imagined. The body lines are very straight. The doors close solidly. You can see from photos, the rust spots (not through) and that the trunk (engine cover) has the typical rust at the bottom, and the windshield has been hit by a BB. I took out the old gas tank, replaced some lines, put in new sparks plugs and it fired right up. The tires are holding air, but for sure, not fit for driving. The gears shift properly, and decent brakes. This car was sold new in Charlotte. The paint code is the owner's manual is P. Red Paint #L32K. The engine runs strong and solid, but will need tuning for sure. The headliner is there but looks bad. Interior will be fairly presentable with cleaning. This model did not come with a back seat. I do know that this vehicle started out as an Automatic Stick. It has duel torsion bars. It was properly converted to a four speed many years ago. I also know that the car was well cared for until it was parked in about 1995. This car will be sold as is, where is, to the highest bidder without reserve for local pickup only.
