True barn find 1983 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Coupe 21,800 with rare 5.7L diesel motor that gets 30MPG. This time capsule has been stored away in a barn for the past 15 years. Last June the previous owner got it out and took it to a Cadillac dealership to have over $3500 in service work done to make it road worthy again. Drained and replaced the fluids in engine and transmission, flushed radiator, new belts and hoses, new AC compressor for the newer freon, new windshield wipers, new white wall tires on factory GM wire wheels, everything works as it should on this Cadillac, car was professionally detailed to like showroom new. Blue velar interior is in perfect shape, no signs of wear, still has the original Cadillac floor mats. It is easier to list the things that are wrong with this beautiful car then everything that is right as there are a few rock chips on rear passenger fender as seen in the last two photos, that have been touched up. You could fly here and drive this car home anywhere. On Feb-05-19 at 12:10:41 PST, seller added the following information: I went to the Cadillac dealer and got copies of the work that was preformed. In May 2012 with 21429 miles, lube and oil filter, service transmission replace filter, flush radiator replace all heater hoses and radiator hoses & thermostat, check ac replace compressor flush system and recharge, check brake pads machine front rotors repack bearing & replace seals. Replace tires mount 4 P225/75/R15 Hankook Optimo H724, flush differential replace gasket fill fluid.Replace wiper blades, replace fuel filter, In Aug. 2014 replace and refinished rear qtr extensions and tag pocket filler pieces In March 2016 with 21686 miles lube oil and filter and recharge ac. In Dec. 2108 with 21780 miles, car was professionally detailed. With receipts totaling $4448. This is a correction of the time frame as stated above. When I took possession of this car In Dec. 2018 I misunderstood the owner that work was done in June Sorry for the confusion. But you can see that less than 400 miles has been put on the car since it was pulled out of storage. On Feb-08-19 at 14:29:43 PST, seller added the following information: A gentlemen asked if there was any rust underneath. I don't have a lift to raise the car and take pictures underneath. The previous owner stated that he undercoated it when he first bought the car and it looks that way ., pretty much a thick black under coating. I haven't mentioned it, but it has the obvious power windows, six way power seats, power antenna , power trunk opener, power trunk lid pull down, real Cadillac wire wheels and not just hub caps, climate control ac and heat, driver and passenger light mirror sun visors. Diesel motor is equipped with 2 Delco batteries, it has a plug in for the heater block. I don't know if is factory but it has 188 hours on the engine meter.This is a beautiful original car with 21,789 miles. The pictures I posted don't do the paint justice. Practically show room new. You can fly in here to Hays, Ks (United Express Flight from hub of either Denver or Chicago) and drive this car home in style.I value this car at $14,000- $15,000 .
