Skyway Classics John Hayes (727) 688-1148 1800 14th Ave E Palmetto Florida 34221 1967 Plymouth GTX Vehicle Information VIN: RS23L77182901 Stock: 345-FL Mileage: 25,783 Color: Turbine Bronze Trans: 3 Speed Engine: 440 V8 MPG: Drivetrain: Description 1967 was the first year for the GTX and this is an amazing two owner, low mileage, well optioned example. Why This Car Is Special Documented mileage of only 25,783 makes this car an instant collectible. But an impressive options list and a big block engine make it tempting to rack up the miles. Mechanical The 440 CID V8 Commando engine has had some upgrades including a new high-volume oil pump, 5 quart oil pan, new valves and valve guides, a 750 Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor (original carb comes with the vehicle), new water pump and housing and a Pertronix ignition for a factory look but more reliable spark. The steering column has been rebuilt and a new Mopar battery has been installed. All normal maintenance has been performed including: shocks, springs, brakes, fluids, and a complete front end and steering gear box rebuild. This car drive straight and true and has great get up and go. Power steering and power brakes make keeping it under control as simple as can be. The 8 ¾ rear end has 3.23 gears which are perfect for stoplight to stoplight racing and highway cruising. Interior The black vinyl interior is original, but the seats have been rebuilt. New padding was installed and springs were rebuilt or replaced as needed. The gauge cluster has been rebuilt and they all work and A/C has been added. A modern Bluetooth radio has been installed in the glovebox so you get a modern radio without cutting up the dash. The headliner has been replaced, as have the armrests so that everything inside is like new. The trunk mat is also new and the trunk shows as well as the rest of the car. Exterior Turbine Bronze paint fits this car very well and the rally wheels accent it nicely. The tinted windows not only look great but help keep the black interior cooler on hot summer days. New headlights have been installed along with new radial tires. The dual hood scoops and quad headlights are muscle car all the way, while the trim and stainless accents give this car a bit of a luxury presence. Conclusion This car would make a great additional to any collection. It has all the options you could want and is well documented. We have a copy of the original title to prove this is a two-owner car. The mileage is documented on the title as well as ACTUAL. So, please call or text at 734-323-9260 or 727-688-1148.
