This is a real clean, original and solid 1978 Ford F-250 Custom. The engine is a 351M. automatic transmission and its a 4X4!! This beauty has been stored inside when not in use. I purchased the truck off a elderly Montana Rancher who mostly drove it around the ranch and on gravel roads. The paint seems to be original but does have some rock chips that reflect the time spent on gravel roads. The truck seems very solid and I have not found any evidence of rot and/or rot repair . The paint chips do have a little orange color to reflect surface rust but i personally like the look a lot. This truck is a TRUE SURVIVOR! The interior is almost perfect. NO cracks in the dash, the seat is excellent, the dash paint is very nice, door panels and headliner are great as well. The truck runs and drives as it should. I drive the truck on a regular basis and its a joy! 4wd operates as it should. It has what appears to have factory air conditioning but does no blow cold air.The truck does have some chips, scuffs and dings but overall it's truly a good SURVIVOR truck. I recently had it serviced and replaced the manifolds and mufflers (dual exhaust).The odometer reads 15,008. I'm assuming from the history of the truck that it has 115,008 but it what be fair to say that actual mileage is unknown.
