RARE - 1967 RESTORED VW BEETLE This is a ground up, frame off, completely restored rare (first year for 12 volt and one of a kind bumpers) 1967 Beetle. Engine and body numbers match. Engine is rebuilt with only 300 miles on rebuild. Runs like new.Pretty much all new replacement parts from floor pans up. Too numerous to mention. All lights, carpets, turn signals & most of the rubber, etc. have been replaced.I have most of the restoration paperwork. It was in restoration for 15 months. Drives and shifts beautifully. I would drive it from Georgia to California in a minute if I was younger. Was repainted in original Savannah Beige during restoration 3 years ago and looks great but does have a few tiny paint chips. Bumpers & original hubcaps have a little rust that can be taken care of with some steel wool and elbow grease or just get them re - chromed. Not much rust on them really. Battery shelf was replaced which is usually a problem area.Engine code is H0365479 which is the 1500 CC and matches body code.I'm 75 now and have had fun with this great Beetle. It's time for someone younger to enjoy it. I have over $18,000 invested in this VW and realize I'll never get near that for it. But that's OK I've enjoyed restoring and driving it.
