Vehicle Detail
I bought this 650hp beauty with 6054 miles on it and have driven it problem free to 10789 miles. It is the highly desirable Laguna Blue with Jet Black Napa leather interior. I bought it from a dealer out of Kentucky that specializes in salvaged and flooded vehicles. They went through the entire car changed ALL fluids and gave it a clean bill of health. I drove it home from there without a hitch. My wife and I often take it out on hill country rides and cannot get over the luxurious and comfortable yet sporty and ready to run feel. It is the top of Chevy's lineup in 2016 with both the 3LZ and the Z07 packages. The original sticker price on this car was over $106,000. I have the original sticker and all the factory books as well. The only other option available on the Vettes that this one doesn't have is the carbon fiber. I put in weathertech mats in the front and cargo area. Other than that it is stock and always garaged. It has 3LZ premium equipment group, Z07 ultimate performance package with ground effects kit and rear spoiler with wicker bill. Performance data recorder, Brembo Ceramic disc brakes, competition sport seats with alcantara inserts and matching alcantara wrapped steering wheel, 7 speed manual transmission with rev match capability, curb view cameras, Apple play, transparent removable targa top, push button start, navigation and so much more! It grabs attention everywhere it goes. People love the color and honesty a lot of people don't even know what it is, thinking it's exotic. Please take a look at this website for specs the Z07 and 3LZ packages include. https://www.corvettemuseum.org/learn/about-corvette/corvette-specs/2016-corvette-specs/ As for the flood.... the car was parked against the curb and heavy rain came unexpectedly and it flooded the street faster then it could drain. Water got in the passenger floor board about 2" up. The driver side did not get underwater because of the slant of the street but the carpet was changed on both sides. It was very very minor to be a total loss but it was flooded nonetheless. The last pic shows the day it was flooded, water was 2-3" below mid wheel on passenger side. Don't let the salvage title scare you it's financeable and insurable just like all other cars. I've owned a few other salvage title cars and always thoroughly check them out before buying. It's a great way to own SUPER nice cars without paying full price. This car like all cars isn’t perfect. I have the Texas title in hand in my name.On Dec-22-18 at 21:22:48 PST, seller added the following information: I’ve received several questions regarding any flaws the car has and want to be as honest as possible. Hopefully this doesn't deter any potential buyers because the severity of these flaws are minor and most likely wouldn't even be pointed out on most ads. The vette is currently at the dealership getting the oil changed and the cruise control looked at. The cruise hasn’t worked since I’ve had it but it should be fixed before the auction ends. The glovebox was forced open from when the car was at the insurance yard with a dead battery. The previous owner needed his things out and pried it open. It’s very minor and still opens but not like new and has a pea sized mark from prying it. I can get a pic once the car is back from the dealership for serious buyers. There is a small flaw on the front top of the bumper in the clear coat. This is very very minor and only noticed by the person washing and waxing it. Would be a simple fix for someone particular about the details. I can get a pic once the car is back from the dealership for serious buyers. There are a three cosmetic flaws on the interior that were caused from the moisture in the interior and the car being closed at the insurance lot. The passenger door has a small line from what seems to be from water soaking up the panel. The leather on center console is “bubbly” for lack of a better word and the bottom, front part of the passenger seat (as seen in pic 3 & 20) much worse in the pics. Check the last few pics. These are all minor things that would be simple but definitely not necessary to fix. I wasn’t to concerned since generally I’m the only one that noticed them. These are all cosmetic and only noticeable to the detailed eye. It’s mechanically sound and I would trust driving it cross country. On Dec-22-18 at 21:26:49 PST, seller added the following information: I cannot change the pictures so all serious buyers please reach out and I'll send some of the flaws. On Dec-22-18 at 21:41:08 PST, seller added the following information: Tires are also being put on at the dealership along with the oil change. It is another set of the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's on it. I bought them used but they still have plenty of life left.
