STUNNING REBUILD OF THE VERY POPULAR 1990 MODEL HONDA CR125R This has been one of several display bikes that I have kept in my work office - this bike for approximately 18 months The 10th character in the vehicle identification number designates the year model - L is a 1990. Motor number is JE01E - 5102786 Motor and suspension have been completely rebuilt As seen in the photo's - there are many polished aluminum components including swing arm, carburetor, assemblies for both front and rear brakes, rear brake pedal, radiator, foot pegs, and other. Very unique and set's the bikes appearance off New plastics, new levers, new tires, new DG pipe and DG silencer, new Boyesen covers, new seat and cover. White tank professionally painted by automotive bodyshop. Frame freshly painted. ( Yes, the color scheme is not OEM for a 1990 model ( 1989 was red and 1990 was white ), but is reversed - frame is white and the original tank is red or use the custom painted white shown in the photo's ) ( original red tank in excellent condition incl. ) This CR125R is a 'one of a kind' and a build that I would rate 8.5/10 ( only below a 10 because non OEM restoration ) In the 18 months since completion of the build, the bike has never been gassed and run. Last week, I fully serviced the bike and ran a 4 minute heat cycle. It was like riding it off the showroom floor, but better.
