Groovy 1967 Mustang Fastback Did you like the 70s? Are you a disco fan? Well, here is a car even John Travolta would love. Up for sale is a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback A-code. It's been sitting in a shop since late 70s, and needs some TLC and a new home. Being an A-code Fastback, it's a good candidate for concourse restoration. Or, you could be like the previous owner and customize it yourself...only lay off the acid this time.The car starts right up and goes into all the gears just fine. The carburetor choke needs adjusting, and exhaust still needs to be hooked up (via retro side-pipes or back to factory). Motor was rebuilt recently, but unfortunately I don't have all the details. Larger tires in rear, but thankfully the wheel wells were not modified. The car was stored in a shop for many years, therefore doesn't have the typical mustang rust. All of the frame rails are in immaculate condition (still showing original black undercoating from factory). The floors are very solid, but looking under the car there is some rust in the front center sections where you place the floor matts. There is also some rust in the driver side front torque box where it connects to the floor.The interior is...well, you either love it or you hate it....but the detail and quality of the work is superb. Someone really loved this car. Even the trunk is customized with carpet and all the pieces fit perfect. I lifted up the sides of carpet to check condition of trunk floors and they look great also.With little work this would be a great cruiser and drive-in car. I guarantee you'll get more questions and looks than any other mustang there.For those purest out there, this car would also make for a beautiful concourse restorer, as it originally came with one of the coolest colors offered (Clearwater Aqua Metallic)..match that up with the A-code specs, and you have an extremely rare/beautiful car. **Buy-It-Now option also includes your very own disco ball to hang on the rear view mirror.
