2001 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 60th Anniversary EditionThe 60th Anniversary Edition consisted of painted fender extensions rocker panel moulding, Canyon Wheel Package, special 60th anniversary logo floor mats, ect. tow hitch. We bought this Jeep 10 years ago from another family that used it for exactly what we did. This was never a "primary use" vehicle...we garaged it always and used it during the summers to run for coffee, run to the post office, ect. So, its never really been exposed to the elements and in that case, survived in original condition, with no kids driving it and really low miles. I'm no Jeep expert, by any means, but in my research it is my understanding that a 2001 is the year to buy because the exhaust manifold was reinforced and does not crack like the earlier ones, also...the transmission. (32RH) is different and highly more desired than the 2002 and up automatic transmissions. I went ahead and had the frame professionally rust proofed 10 years ago because it was my understanding at the time that these frames rust pretty bad and I wanted this one to stay clean. She has the 4.0 engine that runs great, regular oil changes. Air Conditioning works great, drives as nice as a new one. 4x4 works great... Always regularly serviced. No typical rust in the tub or rusted out fenders like I typically see. This has the original CD player in it and sound bar. Hard top, I do not have a soft top and the jeep never came with one, but I see them on Craigslist for $200-300 all the time but never bit the bullet. Hard top is in great shape, very little wind noise. Interior is in really good shape! No rips or anything...no sun fading... I had the tires replaced so the ones in the pictures are not accurate. The Dealer said those were. over 6 years old and should be replaced. We put another set on. Overall, a good condition Jeep with low miles a perfect. Carfax, no accidents and ready for your cruising. I started the price at "Carfax Retail Price" but open to offers. Edmunds says the carfax pricing is pretty accurate...I've provided the carfax ($30) for you here. The only inaccuracy I can see is they state 4 owners...that is inaccurate and I believe the misconception by carfax is because we moved. Looking for a easy sale.
