This is a beautifully restored 1978 MGB in classic British Racing Green. The restoration of a few years ago included engine rebuild, new front end steering components, new manifolds and exhaust system. The car has a manual choke with electric fuel pump and Weber carb, and starts easily and runs great. (One picture shows the shiny stainless steel bolts which connect the exhaust manifold to the exhaust pipe...there is a small exhaust leak here, and the gasket needs to be replaced). The clutch and throw-out bearing were replaced, and the 4 speed manual gearbox shifts well. The brakes were replaced, and the MGB stops as it should with no squeaks. The tires, including the spare, still have great thread. The steering is tight and drives very smooth down the road, with no vibrations or steering issues. The actual mileage on the car is 104,000, but the engine rebuild and restoration work was done about 4,000 miles ago. The clock works like new (but I have removed the fuse so the battery does not drain unnecessarily when sitting in the garage). The gas is fresh and is non-ethanol with Stabil added. There are numerous spare parts in the trunk, including an extra exhaust manifold gasket, original air filter, extra steering wheel, new coolant hoses, new plugs, points/condensor, jack tools, tire cover, and other parts as shown in pictures to be posted on Photobucket. A quality roll-bar was installed to increase the safety of this MGB. The convertible top folds up as it should without the roll-bar getting in the way. The vinyl boot is included which installs over the top after it is folded downward behind the seats.
