Not currently running. This bike would make a great winter project for even a novice mechanic. Perhaps a father son first bike. Bike will need a battery, the carbs and fuel tank cleaned, brakes gone through and although they hold air and have plenty of tread I would recommend tires. That is the bad. Now for the good. Just look at the pictures! The bike is near mint condition. The most major flaw is the scratches on the left hand side cover. Except for one small pit on the exhaust heat shield the chrome is flawless. There are no dents on the tank. There are no rips or tears or even wear on the saddle. Paint is beautiful. Bike rolls freely. Shifter moves as do all of the levers and cables. I bought this bike from the 2nd owner who purchased it in 1985. He put around a hundred miles on her and kept the bike in a climate controlled garage since then. I purchased it with the intent of using it for my commuter bike. Prior to purchase I pulled the plugs, sprayed some oil in the cylinders and applied power to verify that the engine turned. After that I pulled the plugs again and put a few drops of gas in the cylinders to verify that the bike would run. She did. That is as far as I have taken the project. I Just had to have shoulder surgery due to a nasty quad accident and am selling off all of the projects bikes i had planned for this winter. This bike is being auctioned to the highest bidder with no reserve. There is a $100 PayPal deposit due at auctions end. The balance I would prefer to be cash in person but if you will be shipping the bike then other arrangements can be made.
