1972 Volkswagen Beetle , MALONE, NY ABclassics.com This is a fun car, It was owned by a mechanic for years . Actually his father-in-law's name was Herbert and the license plate on this was Herb. He rebuilt the motor approx 3000 miles ago and his was used to run errands with it . Our town has seen that car running around for years. Then after them an older couple had it for a few years but did not drive it much . It runs great as shown in the video. But it is certainly not a show quality piece , therefore the low price.Over time we see someone had put in partial floor pans, , we see new gas lines, new gas tank was put in.Engine was rebuilt, interior is in avg shape for this year. The paint and decals are older and has many imperfections to be expected, I would over time have a shop put in a new floor pan as all bugs will eventually need this and is common, as we see metal plate in the bottom of the battery box. We do not want to oversell this one as it is a fun car at a low price that needs a new home and someone who will love it and want to take care of it, into the future. We sell high end classic cars and this one has been a good eye catcher for our showroom / museum but certainly not the quality of the majority of cars we sell.
