2007 Shelby GT500 Convertible SVT Mustang (12,500 miles) There are a few distinct pleasures in life. Firing off this GT500 and hearing the bark of the supercharged V8 is one of them, but that is only the beginning of the experience. There is simply nothing like the pleasure of rowing the factory short-throw 6-speed shifter, listening to the whine of the Eaton blower, and truly enjoying the visceral nature of this 500 horsepower beast. The first owner of this Shelby only put 1829 miles on the clock due to his advancing age. In 2012, we became the new custodians with the simple desire of having a fun weekend toy. Today, the odometer shows less than 12,500 miles. Due to unfortunate health issues, however, it is time to pass our Shelby on to its next owner. As you will note in the pictures below, through our ownership, it has been gingerly driven with a 6 year average of 34 mph and 18.3 mpg. When not out for a cruise, the Shelby sits under a custom cover in a well-sealed garage. It has never been raced, tracked, abused, or modified in any way. Although it is in beautiful condition overall, it is 12 years old. Of note, there is a mark on the front bumper just above/behind the license plate, and the front chin air splitter has scuffs on both sides. We would be happy to email you pictures of both.
