COLLECTOR CALIBER BMW E46: Fully serviced & inspected BMW 323i Sport w/ super-low miles, it was stored ~14yrs with the same family as it was caught up in an estate dispute with a BMW collector whom had many BMW's, this one was is daily driver before he passed. I purchased last spring and am only selling because as a bigger guy, the car is not all that comfortable for me. This car is near perfect. Clean CarFax & Autocheck. Clean IL Title is in hand, however be advised that IL will not add the mileage to the title for vehicle over a certain age. I have asked the IL DMV numerous times and was told it could not be done, so the title just has the mileage blank. The title is not branded excess mileage, mileage beyond mechanical limits, or any thing negative like that. The miles can be verified via the vehicle condition, CarFax or Autocheck. It has a 5-spd manual, a sunroof delete, & M-Sport / M-Tech Pkg as the only options...The M-Sport / M-Tech Pkg consists of:Sport leather front seatsM-sport steering wheelM-sport 5-spd shifterLowered suspensionSpecial 16in wheelsM-trunk spoilerM-strut-tower braceThe 17in Black M-mesh wheels are replicas (OEM 16in wheels included) and have new Continental Extreme Contact DW summer tires on them. There is some BMW enthusiast's debate as to whether this car is an M-Sport or M-Tech version, as it appears to have both factory and dealer installed parts from both packages. The original family ownership assured me car had this list of options on it when it was picked up at the BMW dealership in July 1999. I have added:Euro clear marker & turn lenses (have all original amber versions)OEM gloss black dash and door trim strips (ILO of the pearl beige it had originally)An ipod/aux plug for OEM stereo (bridge harness in the back of the radio)An AFE air filter w/ grill scoopMagnaflow cat-back exhaust...which are the only modifications done to this otherwise stock vehicle. Exhaust is not loud, it sounds just hearty enuff, like a proper BMW! Summary:The car drives great, runs strong & smooth. After I purchased I have been thru the car with a fine toothed comb and no issues are present. I have added a couple thousand miles in mixed highway and city driving. This car gets 30+ mpg, the a/c is very cold, no mechanical issues, everything works. The BMW has never been smoked in. Not driven in winters. This one has the complete BMW tool kit... VERY RARE! I have all original parts & interior trim items in a box. Only minor normal wear and use imperfections; small rock chips, nicks, scuffs, wear, small minor scratches, detailed pics of the "imperfections" can be available, but are difficult to capture as they are so minor. Mileage will increase some due to test drives. If you are looking at KBB/NADA book prices, this is not the car for you. This BMW is currently stored. Test drives are welcome, but are weather dependant. Full mechanical / cosmetic inspections are welcome, and are also weather dependant. No Tire Kickers / No PayPal for full payment / Personal Checks / Scams / or BS! No warranty is present on this vehicle, it is sold as-is, where is. I have described this vehicle to the best of my ability and based on the information I have and research I have done, however mistakes and human error can occur.
