Thousands of Challengers on the road today, but very few will turn heads like this one does I bought this because of the color. It was the hardest decision I have ever made buying a car. I narrowed down to the B-5 blue but my other finalist were the Sublime Green or Red. Originally this blue was only available in 2009 and 2010 with only about 1400 factory painted between both years (they have brought the color back for the last 2 years again but without the R/T stripes they look pretty bland!). It took me 5 months to find the one I wanted which had to have a sunroof...you be surprised how many I passed on because they did not. Plus the R/T stripe pattern this one has it is by far the sexiest of all the options to date in my opinion. I get pulled over, I get stopped in parking lots, I get talked to all the time at the gas pumps, everybody loves this color. Plus it does not hurt that this car looks factory fresh all the time. Ever since they re-introduced the Challenger a decade ago, I was laser focused on getting one. When I finally had the opportunity to drive one through a rental it only took a day for me to start the search. This is a 1970's muscle car, the only difference, it drives and handles like a luxury car. Everything I have always wanted. I have owned my car for 4 years now and there is not a day I do not enjoy getting in, starting this car with the classic Hemi sound and then driving it. The handling is rock solid, the speed is all muscle with great torque but it is a new car...it is a muscle car lovers dream. The car is loaded except for the GPS screen which I did not want due to our phones being much more accurate. The car drives like new, it handles like new and it looks new. The tires are only a couple of years old with 20k miles on them. Everything works perfectly inside. 5.7 Hemi is clearly not like the newer Demons and Hellcats, but you are talking to a guy that has owned over 30 muscle cars and this blows every one of them away. When you master how to use the 6 speed power shifter it acts like a 5 speed manual and will throw you back in your seat. My older muscle cars had what was called a Dual-Gate shifter which allowed you to manually shift like this and for the time period, that was the coolest option a car could have had. Funny story, I went to go buy a new Hellcat, drive up to the dealership in this car knowing that they will take me serious. We talk, I am ready to test drive one to see if I want to drop $75k...../but there is a problem. My local dealer said you cannot test drive these, end of conversation. I walked out and saved myself about $55,000 and never looked back! Condition is amazing. To point out what I do know, there is a small little indent in the front bumper, looks like a license plate screw ran up on the car. Did not break the paint, but left an indent impression (see close up pic). If I did not mention it you probably would not notice. Took it to a place and they quoted $150 to repair it. Interior is like new, just a few minor light scratches underneath the glove box but again if I did not mention, you probably would never notice. Yes this car is not brand new, but it certainly looks it, and when I do get asked about the car which is almost weekly, they are amazed that it is 8 years old, blown away is the average response. I am only selling this because I have to move cross-country again. Not sure what I will buy this time, but it is going to be hard to choose as I do not see myself in a 4 door sedan yet...lol.
