OPENING BID REDUCED BY $50. BUY IT NOW PRICE REDUCED BY $100. This will make a great winter rebuild project. I bought it as a salvage BMW over 6 years ago when I was in good health but now at 75 and in poor health I will never make use of it. The only thing I got around to was removing the fairings before I put it into covered storage to work on later. The bike was running very well (the seller provided me with a comprehensive video of this bike) with no smoke and no grungy/grindy noises, the gearbox was great, in fact apart from the broken top yoke, some badly scraped/scratched fairings and a few extremities broken it was in really good shape and a prime candidate for a cosmetic rebuild. I've owned and worked on just about every make of bike during my 60 years of riding and wouldn't buy a rubbish bike that would cost a fortune to rebuild. If you are looking for an easy but satisfying winter bike project this will be ideal. Most if not all of the fairings are there, some have heavy scrape damage and I don't have the original fairing screws - misplaced them when the bike was moved into storage. I want the bike gone so it is priced to sell. If you can collect the bike or arrange cheap shipping this is a very (very!) cheap BMW. It is not a heap of worn out scrap iron - see my feedback - but a genuine bike that needs some light work done on it to make it really shine again. Please note that I cannot arrange shipping.
