2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie SLT Quad Cab RWD SRW Auto diesel truck. Details: 2nd gen 24 valve Cummins Diesel Original Dodge tow package Blade and barrel trailer plugs Trailer brake controller mounted in the cab Oversized cooling system Goodyear Wranglers 265/75R16 with low miles Originally bought it to tow our 32ft Jayco travel trailer which was over 10,000lbs when fully loaded. Last trip was to NE Indiana and the truck did just fine on the interstate. NO Diesel Exhaust Fluid required!!!!! ECU flashed with Superchips programmer. Definitely an improvement over stock. Rust spots in the usual places - fenders, cab corners, rocker panels, door lips, etc. Truck originally had a full length fiberglass body kit so, the body has some holes from that. Problems: Cap rear window is broken Grid heater isn't working- needs to be plugged in on really cold days Dash board is cracked- the dash cover hides it well Replaced: Stock lift and injector pumps- Reman Bosch VP44 injector pump and Airdog Raptor 150 lift pump Diesel Auto Power 50HP injectors AFE Stage 2 intake cone Block heater 2 winters ago Installed: Aftermarket head unit with bluetooth and backup camera plays- CDs/DVDs, USB, Aux input, etc. Aftermarket seat heater kit in both the front seats- helps a lot in the winter when the truck takes a while to warm up
