In My Opinion It Runs Great For The Mileage The A/C Blows Cold. WHAT IT NEEDS: The number 4 Injector’s balance rate is off from the others. The number 8 Injector’s balance rate is getting close to the limit. There are very minor dings, dents and areas of paint chipping (see pictures). The Allison Transmission has developed a bucking when it shifts between gears. I am told it needs to be replaced soon, although I have a receipt which indicates it was replaced about 127,000 miles ago. I'm not an expert, but solenoids in these transmissions do go out occasionally. A refurbished Allison 1000 5 speed transmission can be purchased from Thoroughbred Diesel for $3,000.
